The event was both enjoyable and informative regarding the work the trust carries out throughout the world.
The World Land Trust is an international conservation organisation that takes direct action to save rainforest and other wildlife habitats. This is done by providing funds for partner organisations, so that they can purchase land in their countries and establish permanent wildlife reserves.
David Attenborough, who is the Trust’s patron, gave an inspiring talk relating to his strong support of the diverse work carried out by WLT. There was also a presentation on the history of the Trust and some very interesting film clips of their work, past and present. What with all that plus some good food and company I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and look forward to the next Bristol
event!

Tasker & Stone are part of WLT’s Carbon Balancing Programme and offset our unavoidable carbon dioxide emissions to become a Carbon Balanced Company. WLT appealed to T&S as we wanted to use our contribution to address multiple and wide ranging environmental issues, rather than just focusing on climate change.
