Pricing in proportion - it’s not the size, it’s what you do with it…

Since the Royal Mail introduced their pricing in proportion system of charging I’ve heard a few comments bemoaning the fact that it’s stifling creativity and forcing Direct Marketing agencies to design standard sized mail packs falling within the “standard letter” footprint of 240 x 165mm and less than 5 mm thick .
